CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS

Applications for Koiner Farm and Loiederman Farm fall internships (August 24-November 6) are now open!

Interns can receive up to 48 SSL hours or one Montgomery College course credit per 12-week internship. Paid internships are available when you apply through the TeenWorks program. Koiner Farm interns meet Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-6pm in DTSS. Loiederman Farm interns meet Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30-5:30pm in Wheaton. More info available at ckcfarming.org/apply-for-an-internship.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who organized and attended the Nolte Park Neighborhood Spring Book Fair Block Party! Our neighbors spent hours planning, baking, and setting up this event. What an amazing way to get together as a community and do some spring cleaning. The neighborhood donated its event proceeds to Koiner Farm and Shepherd’s Table! We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community. This donation will go towards our educational programs for the community.
