We have our ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ!

More than a decade after MISS REPRESENTATION first examined how media and culture shape womenโ€™s access to power, MISS REPRESENTATION: RISE UP returns to the question in an era transformed by AI, algorithms, and deepfake technologies. The film explores the new forms of gender-based harassment and manipulation, aimed at undermining and silencing women and girls.

Directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, an award-winning filmmaker, advocate, and thought leader focused on gender equality and child well-being. She is the First Partner of California, founder of The Representation Project, and co-founder of the California Partners Project, and a mother of four.

๐ŸŽค Post-Screening Discussion with director Jennifer Siebel Newsom; Sasha Havelick, social and policy entrepreneur; Jennifer Klein, former Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Gender Policy Council under the Biden-Harris administration; Gary Barker, founder and CEO of Equimundo; Neil Irvin, Executive Director of Men Can Stop R**e (MCSR).
