Rami should be thinking about homework, football with friends, and what color pencil to use in class. Instead, at just seven years old, he knows what it means to flee home because of conflict.
When violence intensified in Lebanon, Rami’s family was forced to leave everything behind, including the school bag that carried his notebooks, pencils, and a teddy bear he earned at the ADRA Learning Center for solving a difficult math problem.
Now living far from home, Rami says he feels safer. But like so many children affected by conflict, what he truly wants is simple: “I want to go back to my normal life and see my friends again.”
Across Lebanon and the Middle East, ADRA teams are providing emergency relief, clean water, hygiene supplies, and support to families forced to flee their homes. Please keep children like Rami and all families impacted by conflict in your prayers.
