If you currently hold the CNSC credential, please feel free to take the opportunity to download a digital certificate through your ASPEN account by following the directions below:

Step 1: Log onto the ASPEN website at https://portal.nutritioncare.org/account/login.aspx?RedirectUrl=https://www.nutritioncare.org

Step 2: Click your name in the top right corner and select “My Profile”

Step 3: Click on the "CNSC Certifications" button on the left-side of the screen

To download a digital certificate, click on “Current CNSC Certificate”

To download a CNSC Verification Letter, click “Search for CNSC Certificant”

To view all CNSC history, click “All CNSC Certifications”

If you are unsure of the email address connected to your certification, please send an email with your certification name to [email protected] to request the email address

How long does it take to receive the results of the exam and how will I be notified?

Exam results are sent via email to exam candidates approximately four to six weeks after the last day of testing for the testing period. Exam results are sent directly from the testing company, PTC. The NBNSC does not know any exam results until they are sent from the testing company.

Are you currently certified as a nutrition support practitioner by the National Board of Nutrition Support Certification (NBNSC)? Do you want to ensure the delivery of safe and effective nutrition support by certified professionals?

The NBNSC is currently accepting applications for several open positions on the Certified Nutrition Support Clinician® (CNSC®) Exam Committee. The CNSC® Exam Committee is interprofessional to reflect the interprofessional nature of nutrition support.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS OF THE CNSC EXAM COMMITTEE (5 TOTAL)

Physician member for a three-year term beginning April 1, 2025 (1 position)
Advanced Practice Provider member for a three-year term beginning April 1, 2025 (1 position)
