🌲Washington has been in the Top 5 States for Reported Hate and Bias Incidents since 2018. Intro a new resource. We created a resource for that.

☎️ GSBA worked in coalition with community organizations to help Washington establish a new Hate Crimes & Bias Incidents Hotline, creating another way for people to report hate and get connected to community-focused support.

🚓🚫 The hotline is not the police. You can report something that happened to you or something you witnessed, including bias incidents that may not rise to the level of a crime. You decide how much personal information you share, and an incident will not be reported to law enforcement without your permission.

Tuesday, Sept. 8th 12-1 PM, we’re hosting a virtual Know Your Resources session to walk through how the hotline works, what happens when you make a report, and the resources available.

National Make-A-Will Month ends today, but putting your wishes on paper is worth doing any month of the year. 🌱

Who gets what. Who gets the houseplants. Who takes care of the dog. Who gets to carry forward the causes and communities you spent your life showing up for. Put it in writing.

Back-to-school season can mean a lot of different things for a scholar: a notebook for class, a required book, supplies for a training program, or simply one less expense to worry about.
