Step into the historic Stimson-Green Mansion for this new immersive experience: a murder mystery masquerade soiree!

In a world of glamour, mystery, and murder, it’s the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball. When a masked killer strikes, it’s up to you and your fellow guests to unmask the murderer before they disappear into the night.

With professionally trained performers spread across the Stimson-Green Mansion, you will have to explore the whole building to gather clues and find out whodunit.

Masks and costumes are encouraged to help bring this glittering world to life!

Call to action: Contact your representative and senators! 📣

A congressional letter addressed to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) is circulating both chambers of Congress, urging the ACHP to reconsider its proposal to weaken Section 106 regulations.

Over the past 60 years, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act has provided local communities, the public, and Tribal Nations a meaningful voice in projects that impact historic and cultural places.

The proposed revisions to Section 106 threaten to dismantle this framework by making public comment optional, weakening Tribal consultation, and giving federal agencies authority and discretion over the review process.

Take action today!

1. Call your representative and senators and urge them to sign the Dear Colleague letter. Find your representative and senators at www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member.

2. Stay Engaged! Follow the Washington Trust and other preservation partners to stay up to date on Section 106. Visit preservewa.org/section106 to sign up for advocacy alerts.

3. Be prepared! Share this information with others and be ready to send comments to the ACHP when the public comment period opens.

Have a preservation project in mind? Funding is now available through the National Trust Preservation Funds. Explore grant details below and apply by October 1, 2026.

Funding is available for your preservation projects!

Grants from National Trust Preservation Funds are intended to encourage preservation at the local level by supporting on-going preservation work and by providing seed money for preservation projects.

Even a small grant at the right time can go a long way and is often the catalyst that inspires a community to take action on a preservation project!

Grants range from $2,500 to $5,000.
