At Fulcrum, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow in faith, discover their gifts, and experience the belonging that comes with being part of a Catholic school community.

For many families, however, that opportunity can be difficult to access when a child’s learning needs require resources, expertise, or support that a school may not yet have the capacity to provide. Too often, families hear, “We can’t,” when what they hope to hear is, “Let’s figure out how.”

That challenge has inspired one of the most innovative and ambitious investments in Fulcrum Foundation’s history. The Fulcrum Foundation is proud to announce a landmark initiative made possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor. Side x Side (“Side By Side”) is a long-term strategic investment in partnership with the Office for Catholic Schools designed to expand access, foster belonging, and strengthen the capacity of Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese of Seattle to serve a broader continuum of learners.

🚨 New Episode Alert 🚨

This episode of The Fulcrum Point is all about building faith, putting a spotlight on the effort to open the first Catholic high school serving the Northern Deanery of the Archdiocese of Seattle, covering Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan Counties. Set to open in fall 2027, the school is a historic expansion of Catholic education in northwestern Washington, and a bold undertaking at a time when many Catholic schools across the country are closing or consolidating.

Across the region, CRJS students have been stepping into professional workplaces and gaining real-world work experience from incredible mentors.

Last week we had an incredible Chairman’s Reception to honor the 2026 winners of the St. John Baptiste de La Salle Award! Our winners span western Washington and represent St. Benedict Catholic School, Seton Catholic College Prep, Queen of Angels Catholic School, St. Madeleine Sophie Parish, Bishop Blanchet High School, St. Therese Catholic Academy , and St Mary Magdalen Catholic School. Thank you especially to Bishop Blanchet for your hospitality and student volunteers and to Immaculate Conception Regional School for sharing your beautiful Folklórico dancing with us.
