Jesus gave St. Margaret Mary Alacoque a mission: to share the love and mercy of Christ, reflected in the image of the Sacred Heart, far and wide. Through St. Margaret Mary, Christ called his faithful to frequent Eucharistic communion, especially on the First Friday of each month; to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament; to pray in reparation for those who have neglected Christ’s great love; and above all, to love and trust in his love and mercy.
