The Compline Choir

The Compline Choir Compline is offered every Sunday night at 9:30 PM Pacific time.

Attend Compline in person at Saint Mark’s Cathedral, Seattle, or listen live at https://classicalking.org/ The Compline Choir is a unique community of laypersons with diverse beliefs that seeks to express musically a concern for the nurture and care of the soul—spiritual nourishment. All members of the Compline Choir are volunteers and freely give of their time and talents to sing the office of Compline and support the Compline Choir’s daily operations.

Following the previous post (which was a selection from Cyrillus Kreek’s Taavati Laulud [Psalms of David] that the Compline Choir sang for the first time in May 2026), here is a memorable presentation of another selection by Kreek from that same 1923 collection: Õnnis on inimene [Blessed is the man], a setting of verses drawn from Psalms 1, 2, and 3, recorded during a service of Evensong in Canterbury Cathedral during the choir’s 2024 pilgrimage to the UK.
