As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to recognize something powerful: investments in family literacy are also investments in mental health, connection, and thriving communities.

Access to knowledge should never depend on data costs or internet access. That’s why we’re proud to celebrate the 10+ year partnership between Worldreader and MoyaApp — expanding digital reading and learning opportunities for communities across South Africa.

BookSmart, powered by Worldreader, is a free digital library accessible everywhere. With MoyaApp and the support of our generous donors, we help remove data costs as a barrier to reading for communities across South Africa. Last year alone, more than 165,000 readers gained access to thousands of books and educational resources.
