We are deeply grateful to the Ford Foundation, our Equity Sponsor of the 2026 WFN Summit.

Ford’s support is helping create a vital space for connection, strategy, and action as we explore how feminist philanthropy can shape the future of capital, technology, and the global economy.

Thank you to the Ford Foundation for its leadership and commitment to advancing equity and justice.

Women’s Funding Network joins people around the world in mourning the passing of Gloria Steinem and celebrating the extraordinary legacy she leaves behind.

Gloria helped give language, visibility, and momentum to a feminist movement that transformed how generations understand gender, power, equality, and possibility. She built that movement alongside countless activists, organizers, writers, and leaders whose collective courage changed institutions and opened doors.

Many organizations within our network have roots in the movements Gloria helped advance. Women’s funds are among the living expressions of that legacy: institutions created to move resources, challenge entrenched power, and ensure that women and girls can shape their own lives and futures.

Her legacy lives not only in what she built, but also in every person she encouraged to speak, question, organize, and recognize the power of their own story.

We remember Gloria with profound gratitude. We honor her by continuing the work.

There are many questions every funder should be asking about AI.

Here are just a few:
Are communities helping shape these decisions? Whose voices are missing? What data are we relying on? Who benefits? Who bears the costs?

As AI will only continue to shape our communities, our work, and our future, let’s continue the conversation at the Women’s Funding Network Summit.

What does the field of gender justice philanthropy actually look like right now?

Through our work with members—and through DataWoven—we’re seeing both clarity and complexity:

🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 A deep commitment to racial justice as core to gender justice
🎯 A growing shift toward trust-based and participatory philanthropy
💪🏾 And real strain on the organizations holding this work together

The data tells a story. 📊

But it’s what we do with it—together—that matters.

Our Annual Report, coming this week, reflects not just what we’ve learned, but how we move forward. You can also join us at on April 30th, 2026 to engage and ask questions about "What the Numbers Don't Say: A Conversation about Data, Power, and Funding."
