This July, athletes from all over the Pacific Northwest showed up at SPU for a week of training, competing and worshiping together. They got pushed on the field and encouraged in their walk with Jesus, learning what it looks like to compete with purpose.

Huge thanks to the coaches, Huddle leaders, volunteers and staff who gave so much to make this week happen.

Most of all, we are thankful for how Jesus showed up all week. We are continuing to pray that what started at camp keeps growing in every athlete who came.

This summer at our PNW Multi-Sport Camp, athletes and coaches came together to compete, grow and get honest about what really matters.

There were early mornings and long practices. There were drills that pushed every athlete past what they thought they had left. There were nights of worship where the gym got quiet and hearts got loud. And there were conversations in Huddles and beyond that went deeper than anyone expected when they first unpacked their bags.

Somewhere in all of it, something shifted. Athletes started to see that their worth was never tied to a scoreboard, a roster spot or a stat line. Their identity is found in JESUS. He is the one who calls them, equips them and goes with them onto every field and court they step on.

The change starts with one person's 'YES'.

Gretta took the step to help build a Huddle at her school. Through that step, many have come to know Jesus or renewed their faith, and she has grown as a leader along the way.

Disciples making disciples. This is why we do what we do.

Loving people is a decision you make before you feel it, and most of the time it starts with the ones you see every day.

Who is God asking you to love this week?

The mission of FCA is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

This is why we have camp. This is why we gather campers, coaches and Huddle Leaders.

We love Hunter Bryant, and love having him on the team!

In his second season as UW's team chaplain, former All-American tight end Hunter Bryant provides players with spiritual support and a rare perspective.

Night of Champions was a reminder of how many people are behind the work happening across Greater Seattle. Coaches, athletes, families, supporters and friends all in one room, celebrating what God has done and looking ahead to what He is doing next.

Every story shared Friday night was a picture of lives changed through the power of Jesus and the faithfulness of people who chose to invest. Thank you for being part of it.

Here's to another year of reaching coaches and athletes in the Greater Seattle area.

Behind every great player is a coach who helped get them there.

This Sunday, former Mariner and longtime big leaguer John Olerud joins us at Coaches Huddle to speak to coaches in schools around the North Seattle + Shoreline Areas, doing the work today.
