📢 Calling All Youth: Make Polluters Pay Youth Climate Listening Session

Concerned about climate change in your community? Ages 15–25 are invited to join the Washington Bus Education Fund and 350 Seattle for a youth listening session on climate justice and Big Oil accountability. We'll hear directly from young people about their experiences with climate change, discuss a proposed law to hold Big Oil accountable for climate harms, and talk about how to build climate resilience in our communities. Virtual option available.

Spokane just witnessed its most expensive wildfires on record. 833 homes were destroyed. Communities in Spokane didnt cause this crisis. They shouldnt be the ones footing the bill for it.

The oil and gas corporations that knowingly fueled the climate crisis should pay their fair share for the devastation their pollution is causing.

This past Saturday Seattle 350 hosted a sewing workshop at the Fremont Powerhouse, where participants learned the basics of machine sewing, ironing, measuring, and cutting!

Join us this Saturday in Cap hill and next Saturday in Fremont to practice sewing and make a tote bag to fundraiser for 350’s awesome work towards Climate Justice.

Washington just experienced its third worst fire season in 20+ years. 720,000 acres burned as Big Oil corporations made $90+ billion in profits in just 3 months.

The fossil fuel industry has known and lied about the consequences of their pollution and greed for decades. It's only fair they help bear the cost of climate damages to our state. Every dollar from polluters is a dollar that doesnt come from our pockets. Lets make make polluters pay!

Big Oil corporations are reporting record profits as the Pacific Northwest burns. Gov. Ferguson has declared a state of emergency. Spokane is facing its worst wildfires in years.

Meanwhile due to oil prices spikes resulting from the war on Iran, the fossil fuel industry is reaping another windfall.

Its time companies like Exxon & Chevron paid their fair share for the enormous costs their pollution is placing on communities.

In 2025, oil & gas execs met with Trump with a laundry list of demands. One of their top complaints? Climate Superfund bills to make polluters pay for the damage caused by their pollution. Less than 2 months later, the Trump administration sued Vermont & New York to block their climate superfund laws from being enforced.

All this tells us is that making polluters pay is an extremely effective strategy. And the oil industry knows it, and they're scared.

We're working to pass our own climate superfund bill in Washington 💪 Because we're done paying with our lives & livelihoods for a crisis we didnt cause.

Big Oil corporations have tipped the scales in their favor for decades -- using their wealth to buy politicians, bury climate science, and delay action.

Now, we're paying the price as we lurch from one climate disaster to the next. We shouldnt have to pay for a crisis we didnt cause.

Lets hand the bill to the fossil fuel corporations most responsible. We're bringing legislation to Olympia to do just that -- make polluters pay.
