📣 Open call for art and zines for an exhibition at ! Read more 👇 and click the link in our bio to submit your application!
Open to:
All artists/ zine creators in the Greater Capital Region (18 years and older), prioritizing BIPOC, Q***r, and artists who identify as women (you don’t have to be in Albany Barn, Inc. member to apply, but if you are a member, you get a discount for the hanging fee).
As artists, we get to make our own rules, so we are here to share our voices! Inspired by the Riot grrrl movement in the early 1990’s, we want to highlight DIY forms of punk activism. You can be included by submitting visual art pieces, or zines. You can submit work that focuses on a movement, a specific person, or just a feeling.
The world is crazy right now (and maybe always has been), but it is so important to come together with other artists, and humans, and work together to bring change.
Please make sure you can commit to the dates & outlined requirements before you apply. Thank you! Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
This exhibition is hosted by Albany Barn, Inc. & made possible by the support from the Upstate Theatre Coalition’s FairGame Grant Program 2025. Thank you!
