Friends of Niskayuna Rowing

FNR website: www.niskyrowing.org Niskayuna Rowing is located in the Mohawk Valley of Upstate New York near the city of Schenectady.

We row on the Mohawk River out of the Town of Niskayuna's Aqueduct Park. We offer middle school and high school rowing teams and training year-round and Learn-To-Row classes for children and adults in the summer. Friends of Niskayuna Rowing page is maintained by its Publicity Committee.

Head of the Hudson Recap 🎉

What a day for Niskayuna Rowing at the Head of the Hudson! Our athletes came ready to race — and it showed.

🏆 Team Point Total Trophy Champions 🏆

* 191 team points (73 points ahead of 2nd place)
* 55 total medals (15 more than 2nd place)

🥇 5 Gold 🥈 3 Silver 🥉 2 Bronze ✅ Top-10 finishes in every other entry

Get ready for Nisky Rowing's Car Wash Fundraiser! We'll be at First National Bank of Scotia on Balltown Road on August 23rd from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Let's get our rowers involved and have some fun! Kona Ice and Hot Dog cart will be there too! Bring a sign and let's raise some money for Nisky Rowing!

The weather cleared out as the weekend progressed, and rowers throughout New York State were rewarded for their efforts at the annual New York State Scholastic Rowing Association championship regatta.

Day 2 Completed! First Regatta of the year is in the books! It was a cold and windy day but that didn’t stop us from performing our best! We had 33 entire go up against some great club and scholastic teams, and we were able to walk away with 7 medalists over the weekend!

Looking forward to 2 more weeks of practice before we head back up to Saratoga for NYS Championships!!

Niskayuna Rowing Annual Garage Sale!
Saturday March 15th, 2025
8am to 2pm at Niskayuna High School

Donation drop off will be Friday the 14th from 4pm to 6pm

Clean out your garage, your basement, your attic. We’re taking all sorts of donations for the sale. Toys, sports equipment, books, tools, household items, and much, much more!!

Bring your empty bottles with you on Saturday. We’ll also have a bottle drive, bake sale and 50/50 raffle!

All proceeds benefit Friends of Niskayuna Rowing!
