518 Boys Day Out Boys Day Out: Youth Enrichment Services is a community program focused on inspiring and empowering Schenectady's middle school boys.

Boys Day Out, or BDO, is a community based program launched by local community leaders to address the growing challenges Schenectady's inner-city adolescent boys face. Through seed funding from The Schenectady Foundation, BDO’s mission, of working in partnership with our community to inspire and empower our youth, is accomplished by helping middle school age male youth develop the skills necessary

to thrive in school and their community. Moreover, the program provides the opportunities for boys to engage with and build relationships with positive role models.
