Many thanks to all the residents and volunteers who came out for the annual Central Park Greenhouse Plant Sale (and raffle) in Schenectady on May 8th & 9th to support the Sustainable Living Center & Central Park Greenhouses. We are hiring a Facilities and Grounds Worker.

This position helps maintain the buildings, grounds and gardens at CCE Schenectady's Sustainable Living Center, supporting programs that promote community education, gardening, and sustainable living. This hands-on role includes groundskeeping, cleaning, basic building repairs, equipment maintenance, snow removal, and supporting garden upkeep with staff and volunteers. Work includes both indoor and outdoor tasks in a variety of weather conditions.

This position is primarily part-time (14 hours/week) and seasonal (March-November) with the possibility of reduced hours during winter months.
