We are looking for volunteers for this Sunday, 10/12. Setup starts at 2:30, sharing starts at 4:00, and clean up begins around 5:15.

🟧 Pantry: Chef Boyardee, Hormel/ready heat meals, tuna, canned chicken, Vienna sausages, hearty canned soups and stews, canned fruit, fruit cups, canned veggies, pasta sauce, pasta, rice, mac and cheese, crackers, peanut butter, jelly.

🟩 Produce: bananas, carrots, grapes, oranges, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, garlic, peppers, squash, cucumbers, clementines, lettuce, apples.

🟨 Drinks: milk/milk cards, juice boxes, bottled juice, tea, coffee, breakfast drink packets.

🟦 Hygiene & Baby: Toilet paper, bar soap, shampoo, disposable razors, deodorant, toddler meals, baby food.

🟪 The Closet (for those experiencing homelessness): tents, tarps, gently used sleeping bags.

🟫 Pet Pantry: Wet and dry dog and cat food, cat litter, gently used collars, leashes, bowls, and beds.

🎒 Will you be replacing a backpack or duffle/gym bag this school year that still has a lot of life left? We would be very grateful for it!

We are on the lookout for gently used backpacks and duffel bags that are free of stains and holes with working zippers for kids and adults. We will also be collecting duffle bags with wheels and luggage with working handles, zippers, and wheels.

These sturdy and reusable bags are a huge help to us in getting donated items home from StreetSoldiers (SS) since nearly all of us walk to and from SS.

📦 Donations can be dropped off any Sunday in the borrowed parking lot of the Zion Lutheran Church located at 153 Nott Terrace, Schenectady between 3:00 and 4:00 PM while volunteers are onsite setting up.
