Take a respite from your busy weekend to enjoy the April Focus. It’s chock full of information (Luba Ricket Competition, Butch Mazzuca presentation, Focus on Jim Craner, great article from Joe Brady…and all the winning images from March). Hope you enjoy it and have a great spring weekend.

SPS PHOTO CLUB MEMBERS ONLY!

Join us on Wednesday, March 25, for an in-depth presentation on street photography by renowned U.K. photographer Caroline Preece. If you haven’t tried street photography, perhaps Caroline will convince you to “give it a go.”

A link will be sent to registered SPS Photo Club Members a day or two before the event. Let’s give Caroline a big USA welcome! It will be the middle of the night in the UK, and I am so pleased Caroline will be burning the midnight oil to present to us.

A bit late, but here's a link to the March Focus.
Our annual Photo Essay Night (no longer a competition) is Wednesday. Next month is the SPS Luba Ricket Creative Competition. Both are live at First United Methodist Church. We hope you’ll join us for these special events. See details in the Focus, as well as a great article from Liesl Walsh on selling your photos on Fine Art America, the winning February images, and more!

PHOTO ESSAY NIGHT AT SPS
Wednesday, March 18 - 7 pm

This is a special invitation to attend Wednesday’s Photo Essay Night, 7 pm, at First United Methodist Church in Schenectady. I speak from experience when I say creation of these photo essays is a labor of love. It’s takes a lot of thought and time to prepare. Expert commentary will be provided by Cindy Shultz, who has 25+ years of experience in editorial, lifestyle and documentary photography. Where else can you get to see members’ personal videos and special printed creations?

Join us…invite your friends and family. There will be special goodies too!
