Meet Tripp, our Environmental Quality Intern! 🌊 Tripp is a Florida native, born in St. Petersburg and raised in Sarasota. He has recently graduated from Sarasota High School and is attending Eckerd College in the fall where he plans to study marine biology and minor in environmental film.

In recent years, Tripp has studied Karena brevis (aka red tide), coral, and even created his own renewable lubricant out of an invasive species. This summer, Tripp will be assisting with our Mangrove Rangers program. We're excited to have him & Peter on the team! 😎

And with that, Year 3 of Environmental Ambassadors is officially over! 😎 This morning, one of our EA student leaders, Kennedy, helped remove the last of our air quality monitors around Booker High School.

Next, as the students wrap up their exams, we will send the filters to a lab at UC Davis for analysis. We wish all students across the Suncoast a safe and happy summer! 🌞

We cannot wait to see what Year 4 has in store for our Environmental Ambassadors!
