Today we celebrate 11 years of marriage equality — a milestone made possible by generations of LGBTQ+ people, advocates, couples, and allies who refused to stop fighting for love, dignity, and recognition. 🏳️‍🌈💍

On June 26, 2015, Obergefell v. Hodges affirmed that love is love — and that every couple deserves the right to marry the person they love.

As we celebrate this progress, we also recognize that equality must be protected, defended, and expanded. Pride is both a celebration of how far we’ve come and a reminder of the work still ahead.

Here’s to love, visibility, commitment, and the continued fight for a future where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, respected, and celebrated.

On Friday, June 12, Project Pride SRQ opened our office as a quiet space of remembrance for the 49 lives taken at Pulse nightclub ten years ago.

Community members gathered for reflection, solidarity, and a moment of silence at 4:49 PM. Guests also took part in “We Carry Love Forward,” sharing notes of love, hope, and remembrance.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring the victims, survivors, families, and all those forever impacted.

We remember. We honor. We carry love forward. ❤️
