Project Pride SRQ is proud to support ALSO Youth and celebrate the 2026 Scholarship Reception.

Scholarships are more than financial support — they are a powerful reminder to LGBTQ+ youth that their community sees them, believes in them, and is invested in their future. Events like this help uplift the next generation of leaders, advocates, creatives, and changemakers.

Join ALSO Youth for a casual celebratory gathering with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as we honor this year’s scholarship recipients and the bright futures ahead of them.

Today is Pans*xual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day! Today, we celebrate our community members who find attraction beyond the binary—those who love people for who they are, regardless of gender identity or biological s*x.

At Project Pride, we believe that every way you love is valid. Visibility is vital because it reminds us that love doesn’t have to fit into a box.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay elected officials in the U.S. and a trailblazer who knew that visibility is the first step toward equality.

Harvey’s message was simple: when we stand up and are seen, we change the world. At Project Pride, we carry that torch in Sarasota every day—celebrating our history, uniting our community, and supporting the next generation of leaders.
