What other way to help veterans and their families get ready for a successful school year than to have a back-to-school event! This special back-to-school event was about more than providing backpacks and school supplies, it was about helping the children of our veterans start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported.

Families received free food, free socks, haircuts, backpacks and school supplies. It brought veterans and their families together for a day filled with community, fun, and support. The celebration was made even more enjoyable with music provided by DJ Kile. Most importantly, the event reminded these children that their community believes in them and wants to see them thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the sponsors, community partners, volunteers, barber, donors, and everyone who helped make this event possible. Your generosity and commitment made a meaningful difference for veterans and their families.

Purple Heart Day is a time to honor the extraordinary men and women who were wounded or gave their lives in service to our nation.

The Purple Heart is the oldest military decoration still awarded to U.S. service members, tracing its origins back to General George Washington's Badge of Military Merit, established in 1782. Today, it stands as a lasting symbol of bravery, resilience, and the tremendous cost of freedom.

On this Purple Heart Day, we remember those whose lives were forever changed in defense of our country. Their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families will never be forgotten. As we honor their service, we also remember the importance of supporting veterans and military-connected families in the years that follow.

To every Purple Heart recipient: thank you for your service, your courage, and your unwavering commitment to protecting our nation. 💜

Today, we celebrate the 249th Birthday of the United States Coast Guard and honor the brave men and women who have faithfully served our nation since 1790.

From protecting our coastlines and waterways to conducting lifesaving search and rescue missions, Coast Guard members have answered the call with courage, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to others.

As an organization that has the privilege of working alongside veterans and military-connected families, we are especially grateful for the sacrifices made by Coast Guard members, both past and present. Thank you for your service, your resilience, and your continued impact on the communities you call home.

⚓ Happy Birthday, U.S. Coast Guard! Semper Paratus — Always Ready.

On Parent Appreciation Day, we proudly recognize the incredible military and veteran parents who lead their families with courage, resilience, and unwavering love.

Military life often means navigating deployments, relocations, changing routines, and time apart. Through it all, parents continue to provide the stability, encouragement, and support their children need to thrive.

Your strength is reflected not only in your service, but in the everyday moments that matter most—helping with homework, cheering from the sidelines, sharing family traditions, and creating a home filled with love, no matter where life takes you.

Today, Strong Families Strong Children celebrates the sacrifices you make, the resilience you model, and the lasting impact you have on your children. Thank you for your service to your family and our community. We are honored to support you every step of the way.

Happy Parent Appreciation Day! 💙

PTSD isn't always visible, but its impact is real.

On PTSD Awareness Day, we stand with the veterans, service members, military families, and all individuals whose lives have been touched by trauma.

Healing isn't about forgetting what happened. It's about finding hope, building resilience, and knowing you don't have to face it alone. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

This PTSD Awareness Day, let's replace stigma with understanding, judgment with compassion, and silence with conversation. Together, we can create a community where every person feels seen, heard, and supported on their journey toward healing.

If you or someone you know is struggling, remember: help is available, and recovery is possible.

💚 You are not alone. You are stronger than your trauma.

This Father’s Day, we honor the military fathers who serve in more ways than one.

Whether at home or miles away, military dads carry the responsibility of protecting their country while remaining a source of strength, love, and guidance for their families. Their sacrifices often mean missed milestones, long separations, and challenging transitions, but their impact on their children is felt every day.
To the fathers who serve, thank you for your commitment, resilience, and dedication.

Your example teaches courage, perseverance, and the importance of service. 💙
