Spartan Racing Spartan Racing is the SAE International student chapter at San Jose State University.

Spartan Racing is the student chapter of SAE International with the goal of creating exceptional students by offering the opportunity to use skills, both personal and acquired at SJSU to create a tangible product that gives students a competitive edge after graduation by providing them with invaluable industry and leadership experience.

On April 25th, we officially unveiled SR-17 and SRB-25.

To everyone who came out to support us, our families, friends, alumni, sponsors, and community, thank you. Seeing so many people in the room reminded us that Spartan Racing is built on more than just engineering. It’s built on the people who continue to believe in us, support us, and stand behind everything we do.

This season demanded countless late nights, long weekends, and nonstop dedication from both teams, and being able to share that moment with all of you made it even more meaningful. Your support continues to help Spartan Racing grow both on and off the track, and we could not do this without you.

Thank you for being part of the journey and for helping make the unveiling of SR-17 and SRB-25 such a special night.

These are some of our favorite photos from this past year. The team at competition, late nights in the shop, group meetings, the first drive, and the cars we've built along the way.

But what these photos don't show is the weeks of redesigning a part that failed testing. The arguments during design reviews that actually made the car better. The long stretches where nothing works and everyone is exhausted but the work still has to get done.

That's what Spartan Racing really is. It's not just building a race car. It's learning how to work with people, how to lead when things go sideways, and how to build something bigger than yourself.
