Cheep, cheep! 🐣 It’s me, Pat, your friendly local baby chick at San José Mineta International Airport! I was one of the first passengers to arrive at SJC when it opened, and now I’m the honorary Chief Reading Impact Officer at the San José Public Library Foundation! Yippee!

Reading and traveling are actually pretty similar, ya know? Opening a great book is just like going on a perfect vacation: It’s a chance to escape your routine and explore a brand-new world. These experiences are beautiful, and at times, life-changing.
