Earth’s Greatest Enemy, the second feature film project by Abby Martin, is a groundbreaking anti-imperialist environmental documentary.
Exempt from international climate agreements and rarely scrutinized in mainstream reporting, the Pentagon is the world’s single largest institutional polluter—spewing carbon, contaminating water, and scarring landscapes across the globe. Combining investigative journalism, striking visuals, and stories from impacted communities, this film challenges audiences to rethink the hidden costs of a global military empire and its planetary consequences. Provocative, urgent, and eye-opening, this is a documentary that will change how you see both the military and environmentalism.

For many years, the San Jose Peace and Justice Center and the Collins House has provided space for local grassroots and progressive groups to organize and hold events and meetings. But, the Collins House, being over 100 years old, is showing its age, and we are facing a serious crisis. As the house continues to fall into disrepair, the repair expenses are exceeding our budget.

If you are able to, we humbly ask you for your help. If you believe in the mission of the Center and want to continue developing progressive organizations and voices in San Jose and the South Bay, please donate to our fiscal sponsor, the Collins Foundation. We would be very appreciative. Even a single dollar helps maintain independence of the Center and of progressive grassroots organizations.

Please click the link in our bio to donate.

Thank you,
The San Jose Peace and Justice Center

At the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, our Housing Program provides free legal advice and representation on housing-related matters to low-income families and individuals in Santa Clara County.

Our office is currently working on providing a series of workshops for renters living in San Jose, who are experiencing unhealthy and unsafe living conditions. The purpose of the workshop is to empower tenants and teach them on how to file a complaint to the City of San Jose's Code Enforcement Department to fight for better living conditions.

Our workshop will take about 1 hour where we will go over tenant protections, the Code Enforcement complaint process, How to File and Next Steps. We will have this workshop in Spanish and in English.
