We're back! Coffee and Tea returns to the DAC with our first event of the year on Sunday, February 1st. Come help us kick off the year on a high note by meeting new people in the community and learning more about each of our shared passion for the arts. Happy Dwarfosm Awareness month. In celebration of this years theme “when we support one of us, we empower all of us” we wanted to share and encourage you all the check out this free virtual panel on Thursday 10/16 from 7PM-8PM EST featuring Violet Ferguson, Lylli Stapper with as moderator.

This panel will feature perspectives from a new generation of creatives. Individuals using their talent and craft to not only express themselves, but to redefine representation, claim space, and redefine a more culturally inclusive landscape for every little person.

DAC & TELLIN’ TALES THEATRE - WORKSHOP SERIES FOR KIDS!

All workshops located in the America’s Cup!

Workshop 1: IMPROV
Sunday, July 6 -noon
Learn the basic skills of improv comedy!
We will play games similar to “Who’s Line is it Anyway” in order to cultivate stage skills and creativity!

Workshop 2: Monologue / Storytelling
Monday, July 7 -noon
This workshop is designed to teach kids how to tell stories for an audience in an open mic theater environment. This workshop will help kids build confidence and overcome our nerves.

Workshop 3: Theatre Basics
Wednesday, July 9th @1-2pm
This workshop will focus on theatre basics, such as, what they might need to know if they are cast in a play. How to receive direction and act.

FINAL SHOWCASE!!!
Wednesday, 7/9 @ 2-4pm
This will feature all participants from the previous workshops to show their friends and family what they’ve learned! Guaranteed to be entertaining and fun!

2025 Annual Telephone call!!!☎️ ☎️ ☎️

This is your annual CALL for Telephone 2025!

We are looking for artists 18 years and up for next year’s Telephone!

This opportunity is for all artists interested in creating NEW WORK within the DAC community. The annual Telephone 2025 showcase will be held in person at the national conference in San Diego, CA!

To recap, ‘The Telephone Project’ is a creative arts project where members of the coalition use each other’s art as inspiration to create a new piece of work (i.e. painting, song, script, photo, dance, lights, music etc etc etc).
