Beta Nu Sigma Rhoer Club San Diego

Beta Nu Sigma Rhoer Club is a youth affiliate of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The group is a mentoring group for girls ages 12-18.

are high school aged girls who participate in many of the activities of the sorority as well as special youth development programs. Rhoer Clubs offer girls the opportunity to build their self esteem, learn about their heritage and develop the skills needed to be personally and academically successful. Leadership, Community Service and Scholarship are the hallmarks of the activity of the Rhoer Club. General Information
The purpose of the Rhoers Club is to provide a positive experience for young women ages 12 to 18 in leadership development, academic counseling, personal counseling, mentoring, community service, and rites of passage. They participate in many of the activities of the sorority as well as special youth development programs.

The Beta Nu Sigma Rhoer Club is hosting our in-person Rhoer Club Round-Up on February 7, 2026. We welcome young ladies between the aged of 12 – 18 and their parents/guardians to join us to learn more about becoming a member of this amazing sisterhood.

We welcome young ladies between the ages of 12-18 and their parents to join us in learning how to become a member of this amazing sisterhood. The program consists of training and guidance in education, community service and leadership. The Ladies of the Bold and Beautiful Beta Nu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. would like to invite the parents of kids ages 10-16 to register for our upcoming Annual Youth Symposium on Saturday, March 11, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Access Youth Academy. Beta Nu Sigma Rhoers participated in the annual Nation Sleep Out for Homeless Youth on November 18th thru November 19th. The Rhoers raised awareness by giving up their beds to show support for youth experiencing homelessness.

In addition to the Sleep Out, each Rhoer has a goal is to raise $39. Please consider supporting our Rhoers in their efforts by sharing the link below and donating to this amazing cause.

BNS Rhoer Club participated in their first community service event of the year.

Operation BigBookBag is a program designed to address the needs, challenges and issues that face school-aged children who are educationally at-risk, in our local community, homeless shelters and extended care facilities. Through this program Beta Nu Sigma and other chapters of Sigma Gamma Rho Inc. collect educational materials, equipment and school supplies.

Our Story

Organization Overview Rhoers are organized on a local, regional and national level. Local clubs are advised by graduate chapters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and attend annual regional meetings to meet other Rhoers from their region. Every two years Rhoers attend Boule. Description Rhoer Clubs were originally founded in 1939 at the 14th International Boule of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. Rhoers are high school aged girls who participate in many of the activities of the sorority as well as special youth development programs. Rhoer Clubs offer girls the opportunity to build their self esteem, learn about their heritage and develop the skills needed to be personally and academically successful.
