Meet the people behind Equipped 4 Life Calvin Belmonte-Ryu is the Founder and CEO of the 501c3 Equipped 4 Life. He is a 2022 student at the Bishop's School. As an athlete who was always playing a sport growing up, Calvin couldn't imagine life without sports. This drove him to start Equipped 4 Life to bring the joy and benefits of sports to as many kids as possible. Calvin is currently heading Project Field of Dreams. He is in the process of raising $100,000 to build a field and soccer league in Haiti for the local community. Jackson believes the ability to play sports should be universal, but recognizes that many children across the U.S. and around the world lack access to the necessary equipment. With Equipped 4 Life, Jackson hopes to give the gift of a happy, active, and passionate childhood to as many kids as possible. He is currently a Junior at the Bishop’s School in La Jolla, California and is working towards his goal by running sports equipment drives/fundraisers and aiding in the direction of Equipped 4 Life’s Field of Dreams Project.
