TKF is headed to Colorado.
Next week, TKF Founder Azim Khamisa, CEO Tasreen Khamisa, and Program Manager LynnOska Ritchie will join the Colorado Youth Detention Continuum Collaborative Management Program Fall Conference, an annual gathering of professionals and leaders working across Colorado’s youth justice, behavioral health, education, human services, and legal systems.

This gathering holds especially deep meaning for TKF.
Tony Hicks was scheduled to keynote this conference alongside Azim. Tony cared deeply about reaching the people and systems whose decisions can shape the trajectory of a young person’s life.

As TKF returns to speaking and training following Tony’s passing, we carry his voice and lived experience with us.
For more than 30 years, TKF’s story has demonstrated what can become possible when accountability is paired with empathy, when harm is met with opportunities for healing, and when we recognize the capacity for people to grow and transform.
We are honored to bring that message to Colorado and to be in community with professionals working every day to strengthen the systems that serve young people and families.
Transformation. Connection. Community.
