“Efforts to suppress free expression and undermine equal treatment are contrary to the founding principles of this country and key legal protections. LGBTQ+ students continue to have rights under the U.S. Constitution and federal civil rights laws, including Title IX” writes Jennifer Cousins, a parent of four, including two LGBTQ+ children.

Ahead of tomorrow’s Day of (No) Silence, Jennifer encourages all parents of LGBTQ+ kids to rise up and use their voice to protect our nation’s students. We must stand up to extremist politicians and special interest groups that are threatening both parents’ and students’ rights.
