Last week EFRC Program Specialists hosted a sensory activity booth at Rowan Elementary's Sensory Night. We had several hands-on stations, and all the participants had a great time. One kiddo was a natural at the kneading dough movement with kinetic sand. His parent mentioned, “I bake bread all the time. I never thought of having him help me.”

La semana pasada, los especialistas del programa EFRC organizaron un puesto de actividades sensoriales en la Noche Sensorial de la Escuela Primaria Rowan. Tuvimos varias estaciones interactivas y todos los participantes lo pasaron genial. Un niño tenía un don natural para amasar masa con arena cinética. Su madre mencionó: "Hago pan todo el tiempo. Nunca pensé en que me ayudara."

The Comedians with Disabilities Act (including a reception with light refreshments) is coming to SDSU on Thursday March 26th from 5-7PM at the KPBS Community Engagement Center.

This event is free/open to the community as well SDSU students, faculty, and staff. No RSVP needed.

This event is part of SDSU's Disability Month Celebration. The College of Education and Interwork Institute are among the list of incredible sponsors to make this event happen.

If you choose to participate in this study, you and your child will use an online music program to enhance your child's language and speech development over 2 weeks! Study participation is voluntary.
