Meet the 2026–27 A.S. Board of Directors!

The A.S. Board of Directors helps guide A.S. by overseeing organizational policies for A.S., establishing broad objectives and ensuring the mission, values and goals of A.S. remain at the forefront of its work.

Comprised of student leaders, faculty/staff representatives and A.S. leadership, the Board of Directors plays an important role in shaping the direction of the organization and advocating for the student experience.

What does it mean to find your place in A.S.? For Arianna, it started with the First Year Leadership Experience (FLEX).

FLEX gives a select group of first-year students the opportunity to immerse themselves in A.S. and student leadership through a year-long mentorship experience. From building connections to discovering new opportunities, FLEX helps students grow as leaders while finding their place within the A.S. community.

We’re excited to announce the expansion of programming and events on the westside of campus at the Aztec Recreation Center Courtyard!

Every Tuesday and Wednesday this semester, you’ll find food trucks from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. with all trucks accepting meal plan and credit card. In addition to food trucks, you’ll continue to see fun events throughout the semester, bringing more opportunities to connect, eat and enjoy campus.

And make sure to stop by A.S.’ first event of the semester, the ARC Courtyard Hangout, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. this Wednesday, Aug. 26 to play pickleball and lawn games and activate your Aztec Recreation membership if you haven’t done so already!

Explore the many opportunities available through Associated Students, from club sports, involvement opportunities and other ways to connect with the campus community.

Stop by A.S. Expo this Wednesday, August 26 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Centennial Walkway and the Student Union Courtyard to discover what’s available and find opportunities that are right for you. We look forward to seeing you there!
