Now is the time to make your voice heard and vote in the California Primary Election! There are two ways to cast your ballot: vote in person or drop off your mail-in ballot at one of the ballot drop box locations. Swipe for more information!

The on-campus vote center is now open, making it easy to cast your ballot or register. If you haven’t registered to vote yet, you can still participate in the California Primary through Same Day Voter Registration, known in state law as Conditional Voter Registration. This option serves as a safety net for Californians who missed the voter registration deadline or need to update their registration information. Did you know the A.S. Food Pantry is open throughout the summer? Swipe to see recipes you can make using ingredients all from the Food Pantry! Spring 2026 graduates can continue shopping at the A.S. Food Pantry through Aug. 19.

The A.S. Food Pantry, located on the second floor of the Student Union, is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Complimentary 20-minute parking is available in Lot 2A underneath the Rainbow Bridge.

Each May, A.S. proudly celebrates Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month alongside SDSU. Throughout the month, A.S. student leaders have engaged in programs and events that showcase the diverse traditions, histories and experiences of APIDA communities on campus and beyond.

This time of year offers an opportunity to honor the meaningful contributions APIDA individuals have made across all areas of the world. A.S. is committed to amplifying the voices, stories and leaders who continue to shape our campus community and pave the way for those in the future.

What a year it’s been at the Union. From late-night events and live entertainment to giveaways, games, food and unforgettable campus traditions, we had an incredible time creating spaces for students to connect, celebrate and make memories all year long.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, brought the energy and made this year so special. And if you missed out on some of the fun, don’t worry! We already have plenty more surprises planned for next year.

Last Thursday, we celebrated the annual Aztec Achievement Awards, an evening dedicated to recognizing the outstanding accomplishments of SDSU students, faculty and staff.

Part of the ceremony was the cherished “Passing of the Gavel” tradition, where current A.S. Executive Officers formally welcomed the newly-elected student leaders stepping into their roles for the upcoming year.

This year, we received over 270 nominations. Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination, and the hard work that made this memorable evening possible!
