🖤Volunteer Open House:
WTS San Diego hosted the annual Volunteer Open House to engage members and share involvement opportunities within the organization. Each committee shared a brief description of their ongoing initiatives and how volunteers can contribute to their efforts. It was wonderful to see so many passionate individuals stepping forward to support the growth and success of WTS. Thank you to all who came out — we are thrilled to welcome our new volunteers and looking forward to an exciting year ahead!

If you weren’t able to attend, it’s not too late! We’re always looking for volunteers, and we would love to have you on board. For more information, please reach out to Jenny Vick ([email protected]).

🖤International Women’s Day:
The WTS International Women’s Day event brought together close to a hundred attendees for an evening of connection and celebration, with many taking the opportunity to catch up and recognize the women who inspire them. It was a lovely evening with views of Petco Park, delicious tacos, tropical drinks, and great company. The gathering highlighted community, camaraderie, and appreciation for women across all stages of life and career. A huge thank you to our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee for putting together this wonderful event.

🖤Book Club:
The first WTS SD Book Club of 2026 featuring Atomic Habits by James Clear welcomed new and familiar faces to connect over dinner, drinks, and a lively discussion amongst the featured exhibits at the Mingei Museum in Baloa Park. The group shared tips and tricks for creating and breaking habits in both personal and professional applications and enjoyed a warm discussion about how habits, environment, and identity shape experience. We hope you join us at the next one!
