Brokers Gallery is teaming up with .co for a three-part Cultural Series blending tea ceremony, visual arts, and storytelling — come experience authentic teas and snacks sourced directly from China, play a round of mahjong, and deepen your connection with the San Diego creative community.

ONYX: A Black Artist Exhibition
Featuring San Diego-based Black artists

🎉 Opening Reception: June 19 | 7–9PM

ONYX centers local Black voices while engaging broader conversations around visual art and music. Moving beyond singular narratives, the exhibition creates space for ambiguity, experimentation, and personal storytelling — honoring the depth of talent already present in San Diego.

There are not enough Black art exhibitions in San Diego. ONYX exists to change that.

A surrealist journey through oil, color pencil, and resin exploring the relationships and interactions between humans, nature, and other species. Immigrated from China, Ler’s work asks the questions we forget to ask. The factual and universal to the terrifying and compelling, nature and erasure, escapism and autonomy.
