BCGSD is licensed by the American Kennel Club to hold Bulldog Specialty Shows and Bulldog Obedience Trials. The purpose and objectives of the club are:
1) to promote the ownership and breeding of purebred Bulldogs.
2) To stimulate a greater interest in and better knowledge of this breed via educational programs within the club.
3) To encourage competitive public showing of bulldogs and advance
the breed in public esteem. Our annual events include a Specialty Show and Obedience Trial, an Easter party and egg hunt, public outreach at the Del Mar Fair, summer picnic in the park, Halloween costume party, and Holiday party and gift exchange. BCGSD also maintains a close relationship with San Diego Bulldog Rescue , who place rescue bulldogs into loving adoptive homes. We welcome you to become a member of the Bulldog Club of Greater San Diego to join the fun and help us promote the betterment of the bulldog breed.
