Official Statement of Nomination

The Imperial Court of Massachusetts is honoured to announce its nomination of Empress VII of New York, Coco LaChine, for the title of Queen Mother II of the Americas.

Throughout her years of service to the Imperial Court System, Coco LaChine has exemplified the qualities of leadership, dignity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to our shared mission of service. Her contributions have left a lasting impact not only within her home Court, but throughout the Imperial Court family as a whole.

The title of Queen Mother is reserved for those whose legacy transcends borders and generations, recognising individuals whose commitment to our community has helped shape and strengthen the Imperial Court System. We believe Coco’s distinguished record of service, mentorship, and advocacy makes her exceptionally deserving of this honour.

It is with great pride and admiration that the Imperial Court of Massachusetts lends its support to Empress VII of New York, Coco LaChine, and respectfully nominates her for Queen Mother II of the Americas.

Congratulations to our newly crowned Triple Crown Pageant titleholders!

The Imperial Court of Massachusetts is proud to congratulate:

Miss Gay Boston – Maria Jose Thompson Barreneche
Mr Gay Boston – Kvng Neptune
Mx Gay Boston – Tyler Kitten

Each of these incredible entertainers brought their own unique talent, artistry, authenticity, and passion to the stage, making this year’s competition one to remember.

We thank all of our contestants for sharing their talents and helping make the return of the Triple Crown Pageant such a success. Your courage, creativity, and dedication to the art of drag continue to inspire our community.

A special thank you to everyone who attended, supported our contestants, participated in the 50/50 raffle, and helped raise funds for the Transgender Emergency Fund of Massachusetts.

The Imperial Court of Massachusetts extends our deepest condolences to the The Imperial Court of New York on the passing of Empress Pepperica Swirl.

We mourn alongside our Imperial Family during this difficult time and send our love, strength, and support to all who knew and loved her. A loss within one Court is felt throughout our entire Imperial community, and today we hold New York especially close in our hearts.

May Pepperica’s memory continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched, the joy she brought, and the legacy of love and service she leaves behind.
