Big Sister had a wonderful time on a beautiful city day at the Massachusetts State House! Bigs, Littles, and Caregivers were greeted and chaperoned by 3 state reps and legislators throughout the day. The tour included entering and viewing meeting spaces, experiencing architectural design, art, conference areas, and standing on the State Rep’s caucus floor!

The Boston Athletic Association (BAA) announced that the total funds raised through the 2024 Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America reached a record total of $71.9 million! 🏅🏃‍♀️💜

This was a combined effort of the 168 nonprofit organizations in the Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program–$45.7 million–with other donations and fundraising from race participants. The 2024 total surpasses the previous record of $40.2 million set last year!

Big Sister Boston is one of the many organizations within the Charity Program and we thank all of you who helped contribute to this record breaking sum!
