We’re deeply grateful to our Essex County Chiefs of Police, DA Paul Tucker, and Staff of the Essex County DA’s office for investing their time in a meaningful day of learning in Boston on our Leadership Walk for Law Enforcement. From compelling films, engaging and thoughtful discussions, and an enlightening walk from the New England Holocaust Memorial to the Embrace Monument, participants explored antisemitism, the Holocaust, and the impact of the Black Jewish Alliance on the Civil Rights Movement. What do you get when you combine a room full of young adults, homemade kugel, and giving back? A pretty great night! 💙

Last night, our Bake It Forward crew gathered with our partners at Shir Hadash, Congregation Shirat Hayam to make kugel, spend time together, and support our community. The kugels we baked were donated to Lifebridge, helping provide comfort and nourishment to neighbors in need.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening filled with good food, good company, and a meaningful mitzvah. We can’t wait for the next one!

Children enjoy a “Sweet Treat for Shavuot” with PJ Library - Lappin Foundation and Congregation Shalom. Families sang songs with musician Ariel Strasser, learned about the holiday of Shavuot through stories, ate yummy, local ice cream, and enjoyed playing at the playground together.
