We're so proud of our running crew for completing this year’s race while raising critical funds to support The Home’s programs and services. Sunday was a sunny showcase of support for our youth, with new and returning runners, one of our own staff, and a member of The Home's Board of Directors coming together to help make better, brighter futures possible.

Thanks to all who stopped by to chat with our team at last week’s New Hampshire DCYF Youth Summit in Concord! 🌻

It was a wonderful day of youth-led activities, workshops and highlights for The Home: a former youth in care delivered the keynote, Unity House Program Director Sarah Marek received the Exemplary Leadership Award and a member of The Home's Hillsborough Village took first place in the talent show!

We are so proud of our NH youth and staff, and appreciate the opportunity to share resources with young people in our community. 💚

Last month, The Home’s Program for Assertive Community Treatment of Youth (PACT-Y) hosted its first Summer Kickoff event, which brought together youth, families and staff for a day of relaxation and connection.

PACT-Y serves youth experiencing the most challenging, persistent mental and behavioral health needs. When other community-based services and interventions have not been successful, families turn to PACT-Y, where they receive the collective care of our multidisciplinary team.

With a delicious barbeque, music, games and other fun activities, families and staff had the opportunity to bond outside of their typical appointments and services. It was a wonderful event and marked the beginning of what we hope will become an annual tradition for PACT-Y families!

At The Home’s COVE School, Vocational Instructor Courtney Maloney helps students develop new independence and confidence through a dynamic life skills curriculum. This summer, she’s taking her commitment to her kids beyond the classroom, by running the 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race to benefit The Home.

Located in Plymouth, The COVE School serves students who have experienced challenges in traditional school placements. Courtney takes pride in being part of a team that empowers youth with hands-on, strengths-based learning, and credits The COVE School's close-knit community for making their growth possible.

We are honored to be represented by Courtney on August 16, when she takes to the Cape to raise awareness for The Home’s critical programs and services.

The Home for Little Wanderers has welcomed The O'Connell House, a nationally recognized residential program providing trauma-informed care for women who have survived human trafficking, to our range of critical programs and services.

The O'Connell House is one of the few safe houses in the U.S. that enables women—many of whom are pregnant or raising young children—to remain with their children while receiving care.

By bringing together The O’Connell House’s innovative model of residential care with The Home’s extensive expertise in behavioral health, child welfare, family services and organizational support, this partnership creates opportunities to strengthen services and help more families build better, brighter futures.

As Boston reflects on Jaylen Brown’s departure from the Celtics, much has been said about his accomplishments on the court. What deserves equal recognition is the extraordinary impact he has made off of it.

Through his work with The 7uice Foundation and Boston Xchange, Jaylen proved himself to be a true champion for our young people. His thoughtful investments in educational access, entrepreneurship and workforce development during his time as a Celtic have enabled youth and young adults across our city to seize new opportunities, dream bigger and, through their own contributions, leave Boston better than they found it, just as Jaylen has done.

Jaylen, we thank you for showing up for our kids, supporting the critical work of The Home, and all that you continue to do to empower the next generation. 💚
