Summer has arrived, bringing three new additions to our baking lineup: Glazed Lemon Loaf, Blueberry Bread, and Blueberry Cake. 🍋🫐

These bright, seasonal recipes are already making their way to the community organizations and families we’re honored to support. They also give our volunteer bakers new ways to share kindness—one handmade treat at a time.

Sometimes growth means introducing something new. Sometimes, it starts with a simple recipe.

Newton Mayor Marc Laredo couldn't believe what Give a Cake Bakery has built. One baked good at a time, we're creating more joy and kindness for families facing hardship.

This is Owen. He is one of our volunteers and he joined us at our latest event to bake for those in hardship.

Our bakers make handcrafted goods in their home kitchens and donate them — along with their time, ingredients, and packaging — to support people in need in their communities.

We bake for:

During the pandemic, 13-year-old Julia Conroy began sharing her extra cookies with people in her community. Six years later, Give a Cake Bakery has donated 5,450+ baked goods and served 875+ families.

We're halfway through 2026, and the numbers already tell a story worth celebrating. 🍪📊

5,227 baked goods made. 3,501 individuals served. 475 families supported. That's not just data — that's volunteers showing up in their kitchens, week after week, turning flour and sugar into real support for our community.

We're already closing in on everything we accomplished all of last year, and it's only July. That kind of momentum doesn't happen without every single person who bakes, gives, and shows up for someone else.

This is what community in motion looks like. 💙
