Today, we celebrate 250 years of American freedom, courage, and opportunity. As we honor our nation's independence, we also recognize the brave men and women who have defended the freedoms we enjoy every day.

The Minnesota AAPI Veterans Association proudly honors all who have served—past and present—and remembers the sacrifices made by military families throughout our nation's history.

As we gather with family and friends this Independence Day, let us reflect on the values that unite us: freedom, service, sacrifice, and hope for the future.

Veterans Day on the Hill is Minnesota’s largest annual veterans advocacy event, hosted by the Minnesota Commanders’ Task Force (MNCTF)—a united coalition of nine leading veterans service organizations.Each spring, hundreds gather in St. Paul to:

Rally in the Capitol Rotunda
March together to demonstrate our collective strength
Meet directly with state legislators and lawmakers
Advocate for critical issues affecting Minnesota’s veterans and military families
Key priorities often include:

Full funding and passage of the Veterans and Military Omnibus Bill
Addressing veterans’ homelessness and housing needs
Expanding access to mental health and su***de prevention resources
Protecting veterans from predatory “claim sharks”
Securing property tax exclusions and other benefits
Supporting county veterans service officers and statewide programs
