The new chlorinator Cova installed in Raquel’s community is doing important work to make their water safe to drink. And while the ladder recently installed to reach it may seem trivial, it is doing no small part to make it all possible.
Before, reaching the top of the tank meant climbing a perfectly placed boulder and pulling yourself up by a tree branch every time maintenance was needed. It worked—if you were steady, strong, and a little fearless.
Raquel is. And she’s used to making things work. As a mother. As a water board member. But when making things work is replaced with making things right, something better happens instead.
Instead of improvising, there’s access.
Instead of risk, there’s routine.
Instead of constant challenge, consistency prevails.
