More than 60 SEIU Healthcare Minnesota & Iowa hospice nurses at Allina Health are on the line right now.

Beginning today, Friday, September 11, they are launching a seven-day unfair labor practice strike. Nurses will picket daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis through September 17.

After more than a year of stalled contract talks: and a one-day strike in July: these frontline caregivers are fighting for:

✊ Higher pay
✊ Fair overtime and holiday pay
✊ Sustainable caseloads amid a serious staffing shortage
