The Club Impact Tour continues today with Rotary Club of Belle Plaine MN which offers members and guests an extraordinary welcome. And they haven't forgotten how to pivot since COVID! Their usual meeting location experienced a fire so they are self-catering their lunches at friendly Niesens Corner Bar while repairs are underway.

Angie Kierstead from our Rotary Club of Prior Lake shared this video during a district call last night. We loved how it hit the Rotary stereotype head on and highlighted how professional networking across age demographics is a Rotary superpower. Well done Excelsior Morning Rotary Club! the data shows those under 50 are looking for a place to develop their skills and expand their networks and your club is that opportunity!

The Impact Tour of our clubs continued last week with DG visiting the Hayward Area Rotary Club. During the conversation, they defined their club as being unique for its character (note - not "characters"). They feel grounded in the in their decision making, actions and relationships.

It was an honor to present our Creating Impact Award to club president Lucy Malcom (on her second term!), Ed Haugen, and David Schulz for his leadership and generosity as a Bequest donor to The Rotary Foundation.

And if you haven't been to Hayward, it's a great destination any time of year. You'll see the club's "Big Blue" Rotary branded tent out for big events like the Birkebeiner and Lumberjack Days.

Back from his two day Impact Tour with some of our clubs in NW Wisconsin DG Michael-jon Pease has inspiration to share from Barron County Sunrise Rotary and Rotary Club of Rice Lake. From member engagement and starting companion clubs to leveraging a District grant through the "Shark tank" process, these clubs serve up impact (and great swag)!
