⚠️ Important Security Alert

Fraudulent Calls "Spoofing" BAC’s Phone Number

We have recently been alerted to fraudulent phone calls in which scammers are spoofing our company’s phone number.

Caller ID spoofing is a technique that allows someone to manipulate the caller ID information displayed on your phone. As a result, a call may appear to be coming from our legitimate company number even though the person calling is not affiliated with our organization.

We have received reports that these callers may:

Ask for donations or other financial contributions.
Attempt to obtain financial, banking, payment, or personal information.
Leave convincing voicemail messages requesting that the recipient call back or take action.
Present themselves as representatives of our company in an attempt to gain the recipient's trust.

Please use caution

BAC will never call you and ask you to provide credit card, banking, or other financial account information over the phone. If someone calls claiming to represent BAC and requests this information, do not provide it.

If you receive an unexpected call that appears to come from our company:

Do not provide financial, banking, payment, password, or other sensitive information.
Do not send money or make a donation based solely on an unsolicited phone call.
Do not assume the call is legitimate simply because our company name or phone number appears on caller ID.
If you are unsure whether a request is legitimate, hang up and independently contact our organization using contact information you already know to be valid.
Be cautious about returning calls using a phone number provided in a suspicious voicemail.

Please also be aware that these fraudulent calls are being made by third parties impersonating our organization. The appearance of our phone number on caller ID does not necessarily mean the call originated from us.

If you believe you may have provided financial information, made a payment, or sent money in response to one of these fraudulent calls, contact your bank or financial institution as soon as possible to discuss options to stop, cancel, reverse, or report the transaction as fraudulent.

Please understand that because these calls are being made by third parties impersonating BAC, BAC cannot recover funds, reverse charges, cancel transactions, or otherwise assist with financial recovery.

We are sharing this notice so that our employees, customers, partners, and other contacts are aware of the situation and can take appropriate precautions.

Seeking a Dance or Performance Artist in Palm Bay.

BAC is looking for someone with dance or performance experience to help Bayside High School students get ready for our upcoming Performing Arts Showcase.

You'd work with two teachers and 28 students during school hours to create and rehearse a 2–3 minute piece on this year's theme, "Around the World," which celebrates cultures from across the globe. The event is coming up soon, so extra weekly rehearsals may help, depending on your availability.

📍 Rehearsals: Bayside High School, 1901 Degroodt Rd SW, Palm Bay
🎭 Dress rehearsal: Tuesday, Oct. 20 (arrive 9–9:30 a.m.)
🌟 Performance: Wednesday, Oct. 21, King Center for the Performing Arts (show starts at 11:00 a.m.)

BAC will pay you for your time and mileage. You must have a valid Brevard Public Schools Contractor Badge or A+ badge.

Facility Support Services, On-Site Leadership Spotlight | A True Mission Partner

At BAC, being a mission partner means more than completing the work. It means understanding the environment, identifying challenges, and finding better ways to support the customer.

Evelyn, BAC’s Project Manager at NASA Langley Research Center, recently demonstrated that approach through several innovative facility solutions.

When traditional chemical stripping was damaging terrazzo flooring in a high-profile building, Evelyn researched manufacturer specifications, documented the damage, and drew on more than 25 years of floor-care experience to reintroduce mechanical grit screens.

The result? The customer moved away from traditional waxing, helping preserve the terrazzo while reducing the time required for floor care and addressing stubborn rust and grime left by aging file cabinets.

Evelyn also found creative solutions to two other facility challenges using 3D printing.

Working with NASA Makespace, she developed custom 3D-printed caps to cover countertop openings left behind when built-in soap dispensers were removed. This provided a precise fit while avoiding the cost and disruption of replacing or repairing the countertops.

She also helped address inadequate sanitary product storage in restrooms by developing custom shelving designed for the site's specific needs.

These solutions helped reduce costs, address recurring customer concerns, and improve the experience for facility users.

That is what a true mission partner looks like: seeing the challenge, understanding the customer’s needs, and finding a smarter way forward.
