Family Support Services

Eckerd Connects' Family Support Services provides case management and financial assistance to families and individuals who have an identified history of substance misuse and are currently experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of homelessness.

🌟✨ A beautiful new chapter begins! Last week, GM and her two amazing boys moved into their new home, thanks to the incredible support from Eckerd Connects' Family Services! 💖 After facing the challenges of homelessness, including couch surfing and living in her car, GM's determination and love for her children shone through. 🌈 Now, they have a safe and stable place to call home, where dreams can flourish and laughter can fill the air. Together, we can uplift families and create brighter futures! 🏡💪

🌟 A Journey to Hope and New Beginnings 🌟

Meet KM, a resilient mother who faced unimaginable challenges while living in her car with her six family members, including five minors. After bravely fleeing domestic violence from out of state, she was determined to find a fresh start for her family. With unwavering strength and a heart full of hope, KM reached out for help and was referred to Eckerd Connects' Family Services. 💪❤️

In just two weeks, KM and her family transitioned from a life of uncertainty to the warmth of their very own home, just in time for the new school year! The support they received made all the difference, proving that when we come together, we can create pathways to brighter futures. 🌈🏡 It's inspiring to see how collaboration among agencies can empower families to rise above their circumstances and thrive!

Now, KM is setting her sights on transferring her CNA certification and re-entering the workforce. With her family safe and secure, they are ready to embrace this new chapter filled with possibilities! Let's celebrate KM’s journey and the strength of families everywhere who are striving for a better life. Together, we can make dreams come true! ✨💖
