Summer, Sunshine & Sisterhood! 🌞 🌺

What a fabulous afternoon at the GFWC Viera Woman’s Club Annual Summer Social! 💕✨

We had an incredible 97 individuals in attendance, including an impressive 23 guests and 2 special boosters! 🎉 The energy in the room was contagious as everyone enjoyed delicious food, wonderful entertainment, inspiring reflections, and—most importantly—great fellowship.

Our guests had such positive things to say about the event, and we’re thrilled to hear that many are looking forward to becoming part of the Viera Woman’s Club family! 💗

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make this summer celebration such a success. It’s days like this that remind us just how much fun can happen when friendship, community and a little summer sparkle come together! 🥂🌺

Here’s to new friendships, new members and another wonderful year of making a difference! 💕

What a delightfully proper afternoon! ☕🇬🇧

The Viera Woman’s Club enjoyed a charming High Tea outing filled with wonderful conversation, laughter, and, of course, plenty of tea! Members & guests sampled a variety of teas while savoring a delicious soup and salad course, followed by beautiful towers overflowing with quiche, delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and irresistible desserts.

Pinkies were raised, teacups were refilled, and for one lovely afternoon, we were all just a little more British. We can’t confirm whether anyone spoke with an English accent by the end of the meal… but we suspect a few “cheers,” “lovely,” and “quite delightful” may have slipped into the conversation! 😃

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this elegant outing. We look forward to sharing many more memorable experiences together!

🇺🇸 Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary! 🇺🇸

Members of the GFWC Viera Woman’s Club were honored to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary of independence by sharing American flags with our community at two Publix locations in Viera, as part of our Civic Engagement & Outreach program.

It was a joy to see so many smiling faces as we distributed flags and celebrated the values of freedom, unity, and patriotism that have shaped our country for 250 years. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, accept a flag, and join us in honoring this historic milestone.

The GFWC Viera Woman’s Club is proud to serve our community while celebrating the traditions and spirit that bring us together.

President Hankerson and Clubwoman Verna are headed to the GFWC Convention in Scottsdale. They had the pleasant surprise of meeting a new club member from a recently established club in Honduras who was also boarding the plane. The greeted her eagerly and welcomed her to the club!

It’s amazing what can be done when people join together in a task! It was a Plarn Making party and we had quite a turnout! So what is Plarn?? It’s “plastic yarn” made out of those plastic bags you get at the grocery. A few folds, a few scissor cuts and they are tied together to make what is used for the plastic mats given out by Streetside Showers. Such an easy way to make a huge impact! And it was fun! 🤗💗

It was a pleasure hosting our new members and potential members at Orientation yesterday! 🤗 What an honor to educate a new group of ladies on the history of GFWC and the incredible work done by the members of our club! 💗

The Viera Woman's Club expressed heartfelt appreciation to the teachers at Ralph Williams Elementary School on May 11th, presenting them with a delightful lunch. Teachers are truly valued by the VWC.
