We do not have a shelter but operate through our incredible fosters. Our mission is to improve the welfare of rabbits by educating bunny parents, advocating locally, and helping buns in need find safe, loving, indoor homes. We caught two soaking wet Rex girls in the rain last night. They're now camped out in Jodi's kitchen! ⛈️😥 We need a foster! 📣

Superheroes Jodi and Camryn ran right over and with the aid of caring neighbors Brooke and Alex, caught both buns by hand! Jodi has a huge heart and made space for the buns in her kitchen for the night. She has a full house though.

We said yes to taking a pair of buns from the Miami case of 40. We have someone lined up to help but now we have this pair too and only one foster to help.

Can someone say yes to a pair?! 🙏🙏🙏

We can lend you a pen and supplies. Buns must be kept indoors and fosters need to be in or close to Brevard to access our vet partners, which we cover.

2 new rescues! Foster needed for the BIG bun!

🐇The gray Vero girl is finally safe! After multiple searches, she showed up this morning and foster Amy rescued her. Bun has award winning ears! She looks to be a Chinchilla/Flemish mix. She's a little shy right now but Amy thinks she'll come around. She's flopping a lot. Likely exhausted from betting scared outside for weeks by a church. Amy has her on a temp space but we need a foster for this big, gorgeous girl! 😍

🐇 A very adorable white lop boy was discovered today as well in Orlando as a nice lady was out walking her dog. She was able to get him home and foster Krista will be taking him.

We owe a few hundred dollars to vets right now and have more buns scheduled for spays and neuters this week. Both buns have been Outdoors for a while and we need to get them tested for parasites. Our big, mellow girl Penny seems kinda down. We think she needs a friend. Do you have a boy who could use a wifey? 🥺

We can't believe she's still available! Penny was adopted back in June but the bonding didn't work out with the other bun and she returned to us going into another foster home.

Penny was rescued on Merritt Island in early March. We think she's maybe four or five years old. She is spayed and great with her litter box! She does well with kids who are gentle and she loves her free roam time.

Penny is the perfect house bunny and is such a nice girl! She's no trouble at all. 🩷

She is currently located in Melbourne.

We have someone in the area who can go out this evening to look for the bun. We need a foster though. Bun looks thin. 🙁

As schools get ready to go back this week, we’re asking everyone to think twice before bringing rabbits into the classroom. 🐰

Rabbits might look like the perfect school pet, but a busy classroom can be a stressful and frightening environment for a prey animal. They need space, companionship, quiet places to hide, and plenty of time to settle into their surroundings.

Regular handling by different children can also be unsettling, and caring for a rabbit properly takes commitment every day, including weekends and school holidays.

There are so many wonderful ways for children to learn about rabbits without keeping one in the classroom.

This school year, help us and put rabbit welfare first. 💜

Who would love a pair of big mellow boys? 💙💙

Filbert and Nugget are sadly in need of a new home. Their family has had a military change and have asked us for help. The buns were in a home prior to this one who was sad to give them up as well. They've just had a bout of bad luck! 😟

They are so sweet! They are bonded, neutered, and both are just under 4 years old. Nugget has sparkling blue eyes. He was born in the rescue just a couple days after we rescued his mom and Filbert was rescued at about 8 weeks old from a breeder who was flooding a neighborhood with bunnies.

They must go to an indoor home. They love being part of the family! Will you be theirs forever? 🥺

Welcome new buns:

🐇 Dolly - a black double mane lionhead girl who is super chill. She hopped up to someone outside and was brought to a vet clinic where someone reached out to a friend of ours. Dolly will be getting a nice glam grooming session for her namesake and will be spayed. Currently fostered in Rockledge.

🐇 Twinkle Toes - an orange Palomino (maybe part lion) girl who has been spotted out for a few weeks and finally caught at Goodwill beachside. She loves to cuddle! She'll be spayed oon and is currently fostered in Palm Bay.

🐇 Ford - also very chill! He's a floofy white lionhead boy. We estimate him to be under a year. He was found underneath a Ford Escape in Merritt Island. He does very well being handled and is an easygoing boy. He will be neutered soon and is being fostered in Rockledge.

🐇 Tibby - a white hotot/American girl. She's only 6 months and has already been passed around multiple times! She was handed off to someone at a gas station yesterday who thankfully is an animal lover and got her to us tonight! The person who handed her off at the gas station acquired her from Marketplace. She's understandably a little jumpy right now but loves head scratches and is a very sweet girl. We think she would like to have a bunny friend once she is spayed.

Bad case in Miami! Bunnies and guinea pigs!

No rescue can take on this many. We would like to help but need fosters in or close to Brevard! 📣📣📣

We can lend you a pen and supplies to get started. Buns take to the litter box very quickly. We will get them vetted and spayed and neutered and parasite checked once we can get them into foster homes. This is what rescuing is all about!
