One of the best parts of Rotary? The friendships you make along the way.

Rockledge Rotary President Ken Zeszutko and Secretary Pam Gonzalez found themselves a few hundred miles from home recently in Hiawassee, Georgia, where Ken’s band was performing at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds. Pam, who spends time in the area, stopped by to enjoy the festival and support a fellow Rotarian!

Rotary brings people together to serve their communities, but along the way, it also creates friendships that extend well beyond our weekly meetings.

Sometimes even all the way to the mountains of Georgia!

Rockledge Rotary was well represented at the recent Community’s Choice Awards! The annual awards and gala celebrate some of Brevard County’s best businesses and organizations, as voted on by the local community.

Pictured (l-r) are award winners Nelson Green of Great Southeast Flooring America and Lisa Morrison of The Wine Lady, along with Rockledge Rotary President Ken Zeszutko, who was there to celebrate with his fellow Rotarians.

Fellow Rotarians Steve Lum of Slug-A-Bug and Mitch Goldman of Goldman, Monaghan, Thakkar & Bettin, P.A. also earned Community’s Choice recognition for their businesses and team members.

Congratulations to all of our winners! We’re proud to see Rockledge Rotarians and their businesses making an impact throughout our community.

We were so pleased to welcome Ayden "The Shark" Carmichael as our recent guest speaker. Ayden and his family shared his youth racing story. We're so excited to watch him race in NASCAR one day! (and we're hoping to welcome him as a Rotarian, too!)
