NORA - formerly RARCC

NORA - formerly RARCC Providing Support Services to Survivors of Sexual Violence & Prevention Education in Riverside County All our services are free of charge and confidential.

The Riverside Area R**e Crisis Center provides services for survivors and their families. We provide 24/7 advocacy and accompaniment as well as a 24/7 crisis hotline. We offer counseling and support groups to help folks begin the healing process post-assault. We serve survivors regardless of their race and ethnicity, gender identity, sexual identity, age, citizenship status, healthcare covera

ge, physical/mental disabilities, or language barriers (currently offering all services in Spanish). We believe each individual has a right to control their own body and life, and to live free from violence and fear. We support the survivor’s autonomy in decisions and assists in exploring choices while working through trauma.

In addition to support services, we offer community education. Our educational programming ranges from pre-k to adults, and is mainly focused on youth, parents, and school administrators, with the intention to help teach our community about safe and healthy practices regarding intimate and sexual related interactions. We are enhancing our curriculum to be more inclusive of LGBTQ+ folks, senior residents, and under-served populations. Our services are offered in English and Spanish. We believe through education, the community can become more sensitive, aware, supportive, and accepting the individual’s right to be safe and in control of their life. We are committed to eliminating exploitation in human relationships, reducing the stigma of victims, and emphasizing the value of each human life.

Behind the Name: Why A Night at the Louvre? 🖼️✨

The Louvre is known for preserving and honoring some of the world’s most treasured works of art.

At NORA, we believe survivors deserve that same care, dignity, and reverence. Their courage, resilience, and healing are worthy of being seen, honored, and protected.

This November, A Night at the Louvre invites our community to gather in support of survivors and the critical services that help create pathways to hope and healing.
